California High School Softball - Summerville topped by Escalon

In Thursday's non-league contest, the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Summerville Bears (Tuolumne, CA), by a margin of 20-10.

With the triumph, Escalon moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Sonora (Sonora, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Monday, March 18. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Sonora lost 20-0 in their recent non-league contest against East Union (Manteca, CA)

In their next game, the Bears play the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 15. Summerville will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
