With the triumph, Marlboro County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 18. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 3-3. Waccamaw won 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)

The Bearcats now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Stanly for a Rocky River 2A/3A match on Tuesday, March 18. Anson will battle a Colts squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Colts record now stands at 3-4.
