Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), saw North Cross's baseball squad edge Auburn by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 21. North Cross will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Cavaliers go into the match with a 1-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Staunton River (Moneta, VA).

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
