The Central Red Devils the visiting Columbus Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 8-4 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cullman for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. Central will face a Bearcats team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL). The Bearcats record now stands at 5-5.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Carver Tigers (Columbus, GA) in a 3A Area 1 bout, on Friday, March 17. Columbus will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 6-9 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA).
