The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Cook Hornets (Adel, GA) and the host Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA), saw Cook's soccer squad triumph over Lanier County by a margin of 5-0.

The Hornets now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a 2A Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 19. Cook will meet a Purple Hurricane squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Sumter County (Americus, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Lanier County drops to 2-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA) to meet the Panthers in a 1A D-II Region 1 test on Monday, March 18. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Chattahoochee County 2-2 in their recent league test against Dooly County (Vienna, GA)
