Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) and the visiting Friday Harbor Wolverines (Friday Harbor, WA), saw Meridian's baseball squad knock off Friday Harbor by a count of 10-5.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle, on Monday, April 4. Meridian will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Wolverines now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Baker for a non-league battle on Friday, March 18. Friday Harbor will play a Mountaineers squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Coupeville (Coupeville, WA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-0.
