Harrisonburg HomeSchool Lightning (Harrisonburg, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), 57-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Harrisonburg HomeSchool upgrades its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 16. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 24-13. Greenville Hurricanes won 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Oak Forest (Wake Forest, NC)

Next up, the Stallions play the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. Greater Cabarrus Stallions will attempt to upgrade on its 27-12 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 29-14 record after their 70-49 non-league win over Rockingham R.A.G.E (Reidsville, NC).
