The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), saw Laney's lacrosse team top South Brunswick by a margin of 19-1.
The Buccaneers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sanderson (Raleigh, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Sanderson was overwhelmed by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 11-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans enter the Mideastern challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, West Brunswick was overwhelmed by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 17-2, in a league challenge.
