In Monday's non-league game, the host Taylor Tigers baseball team scored a nice 16-0 win over the Nevada Blue Jays.
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Bradley (Bradley, AR). The Bears go into the 1A Region 8 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Bradley ran past Garrett Memorial Christian (Hope, AR), 15-3, in a non-league contest.
The Blue Jays now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Ida for a 1A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Nevada will confront a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Acorn (Mena, AR). The Lions record now stands at 6-0.
