The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Evans Eagles (Evans, LA) and the visiting Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA), observed Evans's softball team get by Plainview by a tally of 5-0.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Converse (Converse, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record.

The Hornets now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph's - Plaucheville for a C District 5 contest on Thursday, March 19. Plainview will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-2 non-league loss to Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-16.
