Utah High School Softball - Desert Hills can't hold off Farmington

The Farmington Phoenix softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Desert Hills Thunder to 7 in the Phoenix non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Farmington improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Uintah (Vernal, UT) to clash with the Utes in a non-league game on Saturday, March 19. The Utes come into the game with a record of 2-3. Uintah won 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
In their next game, the Thunder clash with the Union Cougars (Roosevelt, UT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 19. Desert Hills will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 3-5 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT).
