The Cleburne Yellowjackets the visiting Crowley Eagles baseball team by a tally of 6-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corsicana for a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, March 22. Cleburne will face a Tigers team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Eagles face the Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, March 25. Crowley will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 17-0 league loss to Centennial (Burleson, TX).
