The Western Albemarle Warriors the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the Jefferson battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Louisa County nudged Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
