In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Woodcreek Timberwolves.
The Miners (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, River City beat Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Timberwolves meet the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Woodcreek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record.
