Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders confront the Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL) in a South Seven challenge, on Thursday, March 24. Althoff Catholic will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.

The Bulldogs now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Mater Dei for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Waterloo will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
