Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Blackhawk upgrades its record to 26-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 25. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 28-2. Lansdale Catholic won 60-28 in their recent non-league bout against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA)
