The Woodward Boomers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Alva Goldbugs to 4 in the Boomers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Boomers (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Cheyenne/Reydon (Cheyenne, OK). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Cheyenne/Reydon edged Merritt (Elk City, OK), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Goldbugs (7-9) will now prepare for their match against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 11-2 record.
