In Friday's league bout, the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), by a tally of 14-6.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) in a bout, on Monday, March 24. Steele Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 16-1 league win over Santana (Santee, CA).
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers enter the bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Grossmont overcame El Capitan (Lakeside, CA), 10-1, in a league bout.
