The Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) baseball trounced the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA), 19-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Saucon Valley for a challenge on Tuesday, March 25.
With the defeat, Pottsville drops to 1-1 on the year. The Crimson tide host Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA) to clash with the Blue Raiders in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Blue Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Tamaqua lost 16-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Schuylkill Valley (Leesport, PA)
