The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Danbury Panthers (Danbury, TX) and the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats (Dallardsville, TX), observed Danbury's softball team prevail over Big Sandy by a tally of 17-4.

The Panthers (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against West Hardin (Saratoga, TX). The Oilers go into the 2A Region III District 24 bout with a 6-12 record. In their last bout, West Hardin was routed by Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 12-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Sabine Pass Sharks (Sabine Pass, TX) in a 2A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Big Sandy will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 18-1 league loss to Evadale (Evadale, TX).
