The Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) softball routed the host Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), 25-1 in Friday's league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lorena for a 4A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, March 25. Gatesville will encounter a Leopards team coming off a 11-1 league win over La Vega (Waco, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, Connally moves to 1-11 on the season. The Cadets travel to Robinson (Robinson, TX) to encounter the Rockets in a 4A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, March 25. The Rockets come into the outing with a record of 18-2. Robinson won 9-6 in their recent league outing against China Spring (China Spring, TX)
