The Warriors now own a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flour Bluff for a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, March 25. Victoria West will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 5-2 league win over Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial falls to 17-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host King (Corpus Christi, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 5A Region IV District 29 challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-15. King lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX)
