Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caroline for a Battlefield challenge on Thursday, March 28. Courtland will battle a Cavaliers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Culpeper County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to King George (King George, VA) to battle the Foxes in a Battlefield challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Foxes enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
