The Cheraw Braves baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Darlington Falcons to 0 in the Braves non-league win on Monday.
The Braves now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buford for a test on Tuesday, March 25. Cheraw will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Darlington drops to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to South Florence (Florence, SC) to play the Bruins in a 4A Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 6-4. South Florence lost 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Sumter (Sumter, SC)
