The Venice Indians (Venice, FL) baseball got by the visiting IMG Academy Silver Ascenders (Bradenton, FL), 3-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lemon Bay for a challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Venice will clash with a Manta Rays team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Sarasota (Sarasota, FL). The Manta Rays record now stands at 3-6.
With the defeat, IMG Academy Silver drops to 0-1 on the year.
