The Monta Vista Matadors topped the visiting Cupertino Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Matadors now have a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harker for a SCVAL - De Anza test on Monday, March 27. Monta Vista will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

The Pioneers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Harker (San Jose, CA). The Eagles enter the SCVAL - De Anza test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Harker gained a win over Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
