Illinois High School Baseball - Mt. Vernon loses to Triad

The Mt. Vernon Rams baseball squad (Mt. Vernon, IL), was overwhelmed 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Triad Knights (Troy, IL)

With the triumph, Triad moves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to confront the Titans in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Glenwood won 13-0 in their recent league contest against Springfield (Springfield, IL)

The Rams now possess a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Civic Memorial for a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 26. Mt. Vernon will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Breese Central (Breese, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
