Missouri High School Baseball - Veritas Christian Academy defeats Silex

The Veritas Christian Academy Eagles baseball team scored 15 runs and held the host Silex Owls to 9 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lutheran for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Veritas Christian Academy will play a Cougars team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Parkway West (Ballwin, MO). The Cougars record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Silex drops to 1-2 on the year. The Owls travel to Clopton (Clarksville, MO) to play the Hawks in a Class 2 District 5 test on Thursday, March 27. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 1-0. Clopton won 13-7 in their recent non-league test against Community (Laddonia, MO)
