The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the visiting Leesville Road Pride to 0 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Crusaders now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cannon for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 27. Cardinal Gibbons will face a Cougars squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Leesville Road falls to 3-5 on the year. The Pride host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to face the Vikings in a non-league outing on Thursday, March 27. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 6-4. Union Pines lost 9-6 in their recent non-league outing against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)
