William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA), 13-12 in a non-league battle.
The Quakers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Christopher's for a non-league battle on Monday, March 28. William Penn Charter will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Saints record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Saints clash with the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a VISAA Division 1 battle, on Saturday, April 2. St. Anne's-Belfield will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record.
