Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Del Norte Knights (Albuquerque, NM), 17-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Ravens now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 30. Rio Grande will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Del Norte falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM) to battle the Spartans in a 4A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Bernalillo won 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Robertson (Las Vegas, NM)
