The Clay County Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Braxton County Eagles to 4 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Buffalo for a non-league test on Friday, March 28. Clay County will clash with a Bison team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Bison record now stands at 0-5.
