The Piedmont Bulldogs softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Jacksonville Golden Eagles to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Piedmont moves its record to 13-7 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Oxford (Oxford, AL) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league game on Thursday, March 30. The Yellow Jackets come into the game with a record of 4-1. Oxford won 14-3 in their recent league game against Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL)

Next up, the Golden Eagles meet the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) in a 4A Area 7 battle, on Thursday, March 30. Jacksonville will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Randolph County (Wedowee, AL).
