With the win, Hayesville upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) to battle the Braves in a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Tuesday, April 2. The Braves come into the test with a record of 1-8. Cherokee lost 15-4 in their recent league test against Swain County (Bryson City, NC)

With the defeat, Hiwassee Dam falls to 1-4 on the season. The Eagles host Towns County (Hiawassee, GA) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Monday, April 1. The Indians come into the test with a record of 9-8. Towns County lost 12-4 in their recent league test against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA)
