The Piedmont Panthers soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Panthers face the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Tuesday, April 9. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record.

The Pirates now have a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sun Valley for a Southern Carolina 4A contest on Tuesday, April 9.
