The Manila Lions softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Bay Yellowjackets to 7 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Manila improves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Lions host West Memphis (West Memphis, AR) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Friday, March 29. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 3-10. West Memphis won 13-7 in their recent non-league game against Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Armorel Tigers (Armorel, AR) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 29. Bay will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 15-2 non-league loss to East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR).
