The Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) softball nipped the host Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), 2-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Tigers (11-11) will now prepare for their bout against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 4-16 record.

The Braves now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Amory for a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, April 2.
