Fans at Friday's league contest between the Canyon View Falcons (Cedar City, UT) and the host Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT), witnessed Canyon View's lacrosse squad hold off Pine View by a score of 5-4.

The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hurricane (Hurricane, UT). The Tigers enter the 4A Region 9 contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hurricane nipped Desert Hills (St. George, UT), 17-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT) in a 4A Region 9 contest, on Tuesday, April 1. Pine View will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Reds enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 17-2 league win over Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT).
