In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Los Lunas Tigers softball team scored a tight 9-6 win over the Rio Rancho Rams.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars come into the 5A District 5 match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, Atrisco Heritage Academy nipped Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM), 7-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rams confront the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 29. Rio Rancho will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM).
