The Chico Panthers baseball squad (Chico, CA), was edged 5-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA)

With the triumph, Pacifica moves its record to 8-5 on the season. The Mariners travel to Ganesha (Pomona, CA) to confront the Giants in a non-league contest on Monday, March 30. The Giants come into the contest with a record of 8-0. Ganesha won 14-3 in their recent non-league battle against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA)
