The Greensboro Raiders (Greensboro, AL) softball routed the host Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), 28-8 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Aliceville (Aliceville, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 1-8 record. In their last bout, Aliceville was routed by Wenonah (Birmingham, AL), 13-11, in a non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Selma for a 5A Area 7 bout on Thursday, March 31. Central will confront a Saints squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL). The Saints record now stands at 4-4.
