The Geneva County Bulldogs softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Abbeville Yellowjackets to 1 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Geneva County improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Carroll (Ozark, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, March 7. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-8.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Cottonwood Bears (Cottonwood, AL) in a 2A Area 2 game, on Tuesday, March 8. Abbeville will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
