The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV) and the visiting South Harrison Hawks (Lost Creek, WV), observed Liberty's basketball team overcome South Harrison by a margin of 60-52.

The Mountaineers (10-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Petersburg (Petersburg, WV). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Petersburg defeated Berkeley Springs (Berkeley Springs, WV), 59-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Tygarts Valley Bulldogs (Mill Creek, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. South Harrison will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 80-47 league loss to Tucker County (Hambleton, WV).
