Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lebanon Cedars (Lebanon, PA), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Golden Mules now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ephrata for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 challenge on Friday, April 1. Solanco will battle a Mountaineers squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Lebanon falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Cedars travel to Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA) to battle the Pioneers in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 challenge on Friday, April 1. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
