Pennsylvania High School Softball - Montrose bounces Blue Ridge

March 30, 2026: New Milford, PA 18834

The Montrose Meteors softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Blue Ridge Raiders to 1 in the Meteors league win on Monday.

The Meteors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunmore for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 2. Montrose will confront a Bucks team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Blue Ridge drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 2. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Northeast Bradford lost 16-9 in their recent league challenge against Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA)
