North Carolina High School Baseball - Topsail gets by Ashley

The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 4-2 in Friday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Pirates play the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Topsail will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Buccaneers enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 6-0 league loss to Hoggard (Wilmington, NC).

The Screaming Eagle now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 4. Ashley will play a Scorpions squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 8-5.
