The Brantley County Herons baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Tattnall County Warriors to 2 in the Herons league victory on Friday.
The Herons (12-8) will now prepare for their match against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the 2A Area 3 match with a 14-7 record. In their last match, Appling County was edged by West Laurens (Dexter, GA), 4-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (6-14) will now prepare for their match against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers go into the non-league match with a 15-7 record. In their last match, McIntosh County Academy edged Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA), 13-1, in a league match.
