Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 8-7 in a non-league test.

The Warriors now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Moon Area for a WPIAL 2A 1 test on Wednesday, April 5. Penn-Trafford will face a Tigers squad coming off a 17-5 non-league win over Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 test, on Tuesday, April 4. Hempfield Area will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Mars (Mars, PA).
