The Warren Lumberjacks baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Monticello Billies to 2 in the Lumberjacks league victory on Wednesday.

The Lumberjacks (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Ricebirds go into the 4A Region 8 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Stuttgart was edged by Star City (Star City, AR), 5-4, in a league match.

The Billies (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last match, Lonoke tipped Mills University Studies (Little Rock, AR), 16-0, in a league match.
