In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Lackey Chargers basketball team scored a tight 38-32 triumph over the Williamsport Wildcats.
In their next game, the Chargers meet the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, March 9. Lackey will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Buccaneers enter the match with a 25-0 record after their 41-38 non-league win over Hereford (Parkton, MD).
With the defeat, Williamsport moves to 23-3 on the year.
